Q1:  In the General Requirements it states that school offices will receive shipments to the front desk and administrative locations will have desktop delivery. In addition, there are a couple parts where it says deliveries need to be made by 2PM or 3PM. We ship via UPS and cannot provide desktop delivery and also do not know when the campuses get their UPS delivery. To keep our prices as low as possible, we can, however, have individual attention names on the boxes so they go to the correct person and/or department. Would this suffice?
A:In Section XVII of the General Terms and Conditions it states that deliveries will be made between 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (normal school hours). In regards to the 2:00 PM reference, RISD expects for the EDI transmission to be made to the awarded vendor by 2:00 PM. RISD expects deliveries to be made the next day. If RISD sends the transmission after 2:00 PM then awarded vendor is not required to make delivery the next day but the day after.

For our administrative locations we do require desktop delivery.
